I am a graduate of Saline High School, and lived and grew up here most of my life. I am a mom to my three-year-old daughter Soliz, who is also a student at St. Andrew and a wife to my husband Ruben. I have a B.S. degree from the University of Michigan in Science Education and an M.A. degree in Learning Disabilities K-12 Education from Eastern Michigan University. I taught in Catholic education before my recent role as a special education teacher in the public school setting. I am happy to serve the Catholic community as a teacher once more. I love having discussions with my students about their faith and how it connects to their learning. As a new teacher at St. Andrew, I hope to bring my expertise in assisting students reach their full potential and to walk with Christ as they grow and learn lessons in servant leadership. I look forward to getting to know everyone and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful school!
