Today is Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord. We commemorate Jesus’ journey to Calvary for our sake. We remember his passion and death. Let us continue by taking part in the upcoming Triduum:
On Holy Thursday, our Choir will sing (for the first time after 3 years away due to the pandemic) for the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7:00pm. This Liturgy celebrates the Institution of the Eucharist and the Gift of Priesthood.
On Good Friday, the Liturgy begins at 1:00pm. We will have a String Quartet and the Choir leading us in this very moving Liturgy commemorating Christ’s death on the Cross.
On Saturday, the tremendous Easter Vigil begins at 9:00pm – the paramount Celebration of the Resurrection. The Choir and Cantors will sing accompanied by Violin, Cello, Guitar and Brass.
I hope that you can partake fully of the very profound and prayerful offerings and celebrations of our faith this holiest of weeks! Here's a couple of beautiful recordings for your reflection –
