Each individual is wonderully made and when our parish community comes together to worship, we become one Body in Christ.
As a ministry of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, we seek to ensure that persons with disabilities, and their families, have the opportunity to fully practice their faith, receive the Sacraments and participate in parish life.
As a parish, St. Andrew is always striving to be a welcoming place where all can feel a part of the community. It has come to our attention that we can do more to be a welcoming support to those with disabilities and their families. Many of these families are dealing with a never-ending series of issues that other families don’t normally have to deal with and may even be unaware of. As our mission is to be a comfortable place for all to worship and be involved, we ask you if you would ponder and respond to these questions:
* Do you see a need that we can address, or do a better job of involving and accommodating those with special needs?
* Is there a way or an area that we can improve involvement and/or comfort to those dealing with a disability and their families?
* Do you have knowledge, a skill, support ability or experiences that you can share with others?
Please call and let us know your thoughts, concerns, and ideas. We need the input of people with disabilities, families dealing with disabilities, and those with no disability who may see opportunities and concerns that those dealing with these issues do not see.
We would like to hear from all of you. Please contact our St. Andrew staff member, Dominic Bruno at: 429-1152.
We want You to Hear Mass.
Do you or a loved one have difficulty hearing Mass due to a hearing impairment?
If so, our Ushers can assist you with a Hear Assistance Devise for your use during Mass at St. Andrew Church. See them before Mass begins and they will get you set up. We want you to come hear Mass.
