K-7 Curriculum

St. Andrew Catholic School will use the Diocese of Lansing approved curriculum in tandem with the Education in Virtues program.

St. Andrew Catholic School, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and in partnership with families, seeks to build and deepen the Catholic faith of its students. This will lead them to seek to know The Good, The True and The Beautiful, which leads us to Him. We will commit to foster community discipleship through love for God and of all His people.

We will focus on four primary characteristics that make St. Andrew Catholic School unique:

1. Human Formation will consist of building virtues, which are the basic building blocks of considerate and appropriate interaction with others. “Grace builds on nature” - St. Thomas Aquinas.
2. Spiritual Formation will work to develop a personal walk with Jesus, which informs every aspect of your child’s life.
3. Apostolic Formation will aim to develop skills in the realm of evangelistic work in the world while serving the spiritual and bodily needs of others.
4. Intellectual Formation will serve to increase the understanding of the world given to us by God to cultivate. Through academic discipline, children will gain an ability to contribute to the common good of all people and of all creation.
